Huawei P9 (EVA-L09 & EVA-L19) models in Latin American countries can now be updated to B386 Nougat firmware. This update comes with Android security patch level of May 5, 2017.

How to Update
- You’ll need a custom recovery like TWRP and an unlocked bootloader for this procedure.
- Verify your phone’s model number and region (important) from Settings > About Phone and download the appropriate firmware files.
- Transfer the downloaded files (update.zip, public data and cust package) to the internal memory of your device.
- Unplug the USB cable and turn your phone off.
- Press and hold Vol up + Power for a few seconds to boot into TWRP.
- After taking a full backup, go to Install and flash the update.zip package.
- Next, install the public data and cust files in the same way.
- Finally, return to the main screen and reboot into the system.
